Foreclosure means when a homeowner cannot manage principal or interest payments on his/her loan, which typically leads to the property being seized and sold. After that the properties are called foreclosure house.
When it Occurs?
The Foreclosure procedure begins when the homeowner fails to manage payments of the money due on the mortgage at the Specific time of installment payment. There are several reasons which are responsible for this foreclosure process. Some of them may be unemployment, divorce, terms of the loan, sick of property management, and even death.
Foreclosure typically starts with a formal demand for payment which is usually a letter issued from the lender. This type of letter of notice is referred to as a Notice of Default (NOD). Depending on your state, the lender will issue this notice when the homeowner has been 3 months delinquent on the mortgage payments. Keep in mind that the notice is a threat to sell your property, terminate all your rights in that property and evict you from your home or property.

1. Call your lender immediately.
2. Should speak to the “loss mitigation” department.
3. Be prepared to review your situation in detail with your lender.
4. Know the ways your lender can help you to avoid foreclosure.
5. Know where to turn if you aren’t getting the help you need from your lender.
6. Be aware of the foreclosure process — and consequences.
